Siwen Saodi is a duo project by Gao Jiafeng and Yi Xin Tong. Operating on a tenor saxophone, a mixer with non-input feedback loops and contact mics, and East Asian traditional percussions, Siwen Saodi incorporates improvised saxophone, harsh noise, and East Asian underground spiritual music into jarring and unexpected combinations that are ethnically tinged and highly aggressive.
